Load matched gear ratios for easier cranking hunting tooth gear system for more even wear longer life. All ratchet winches will freewheel when ratchet is disengaged. Reinforced arc-welded reels embossed reinforced bases high carbon steel gears. "S" models (DL1100S) have 2" winch straps included. Cable clamp standard on 2-speed heavy-duty models (cable not included). Heavy-duty steel handles have molded grips (quick attach handle standard on 2-speed models). Permanently lubricated bearings on all drive shafts. All models equipped w/slots in reel for easy installation of winch straps. Powder-coated metallic copper bronze or zinc with Tuffplate. Not for movement of human beings. DUTTON-LAINSON PULLING WINCH SPECIFICATIONS Rated Capacity: based on direct line pull on the third layer of line on the drum. Capacity is reduced as line builds up on the drum.
