Coax port on router NVG468MQ is not an input, it is only an output and should only be connected when there is also Fios Tv service. This coax port will give you on demand and guide on your tv cable receivers. This router will work with Fios Frontier and Verizon. If you are replacing it for the same model then your set up will be a breeze. Set up on this router will be different if the router youre replacing it for looks different than the one in this post. -Check images for every possible scenario.- Keep in mind that if you receive internet service through coax cable you will need an additional moca device.
